Football talent certainly runs in the Eto’o family and it looks like Samuel Eto’o son has all the makings of an indomitable striker. 

The teenage striker, Etienne Eto’o was crowned the top scorer in a Spanish youth tournament. We look at other players who have followed in their father’s or relative’s footsteps to become professional footballers. Do you know of other current or players of yesteryear who have followed the same trend?

Football talent certainly runs in the Eto’o family and it looks like Samuel Eto’o son has all the makings of an indomitable striker, if the boy’s performance at the Copa Mallorca are anything to go by. Etienne Eto’o was crowned the best scorer in a Spanish youth tournament and Samuel couldn’t hide his joy, posting pictures and a congratulatory message.

The 14 year-old Etienne participated in the youth football tournament which attracts players in Mallorca between 6 and 16 years old and his team, Mallorca, won the U14 tournament, Afrizap reported. Clearly, football runs in the family. 

We look at other players who have followed the same trend, emulating their fathers or relatives to become professional footballers.
