Maseru - The wife of the Denish man accused of mutilating women’s genitals and keeping their clito_rises in his fridge has been shot dead in her home country Lesotho, the Hawks said yesterday.

Anna Molise (28) was shot four times next to the gate of her house in Maseru on Tuesday evening, spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said.

“It is suspected to be a hit.” The Hawks were waiting for feedback from the South African High Commissioner in Lesotho about co-operation from the authorities there in investigating the matter.

Mulaudzi said they were “deeply saddened” about the murder as she had been an integral part of the investigation.

Following her husband’s arrest, Molise returned to Lesotho, leaving behind two of her children. She turned down an offer of witness protection. She would have testified for the State in the case against the Dane.
Lesotho Woman Nabbed With  Women Genitals

Twenty-one pieces of women’s geni_tals were found in the 58-year-old man’s deep freezer last week.
Police confiscated anaesthetic medication, surgical equipment, and photos from the house in Langenhoven Park. The man was the owner of a gun shop in Bloemfontein.

The matter came to light when the man’s wife reported him to the police and police called on women who may have fallen victim to the man to come forward. The story said the man even kept records of who the parts he cut off belonged to, and also had photos of the punani pieces.

Everything was exposed when the man’s wife reportedly complained to municipal workers that he was threatening to kill her and their kids. - Online Sources
